Quotes
This project is called, "Quotes." We needed a picture that we took ourselves and go into photoshop to add text to create a quote. This was very simple yet fun to edit.
Forced Perspective
This project was called, "Forced Perspective." For it we had to make something look realistic by making something look bigger and the other object smaller. This was fun to do and gives ideas of things to do with your friends when bored.
Pop Culture
This project was called, "Pop Culture." For it we had to find an image on our phone and make it blend into something a person's doing or to go along with an object. It's cool how realistic this type of photography can be and it was really fun to do with friends.
Bubbles
This was apart of our outside week. For the bubbles assignment we got to go outside and take pictures of each other making bubbles. We got creative with it and had a lot of fun. It was a great day to have some fun with our classmates outside.
Raindrop
This project was called, "Raindrop." It was rainy outside so we went outside and took pictures of puddles and raindrops on plants. It was really fun and gave us a chance to go outside.
Chalk
This project was called, "Chalk Art." For it we had to draw with chalk that'll match your position. It was really fun but it need to have a good angle for the perfect shot.
Glow Art Photoshop
This project was called, "Photoshop tutorial." For it we had to choose some photoshop ideas and try them out. I decided to do the glow art one and some things didn't work like the video said it should but it still turned out cool.
Pencil Self Portrait
This project was called, "Pencil Self Portrait." For it we had to take a self portrait, than we the picture we used put it into photoshop. After doing that you watch a video giving you steps on how to make it look like you were drawn onto a paper. It turned out cool and was very simple.
Duo Tone
This project is called, "Duo Tone," For it we had to use a picture of someone which I used a picture of myself. After getting the picture you use photoshop and add color, shapes, and text. I used the words, "Hype Beast," because you always got to stay hyped up.
Chapter 15-19
For this project we did group projects. We got to teach the class how to take a type of picture and learned how to take certain pictures. It was really fun and what we learned and did was, "White Balance, Halo, Constant Light, and Black and White." It was super fun and we had enough time to get everything done.
Slow Sync Flash
This project was called, "Slow Sync Flash." For it we had to take action shots and blur out the background while were moving. Aubrey, Tanner, and I all skateboarded and it turned out well but not as good as we wanted. It was fun to be able to go outside and have some fun with our work.
Color pt. 2
This project is called, "Color pt. 2" For it we had to get paper and water and make the water change color by the paper. This project was really cool and was easier than I thought.
Fence Cut Out
This project was called, "Fence Portrait." For it we had to take a picture with the fence with and without us so we can make cut outs. It was simple yet fun.
Staple City
This project is called, "Staple City." For the project we had to stack staples up in a form to make them look like a city and use different lightings or backgrounds to make them look realistic and cool. This project was actually more stressful than it looks but at the same time fun to make small items look like close up buildings you'd see in the city.
Portrait Overlay
This project was called, "Portrait Overlay." For it we had to take a new picture or an old one and put it into photoshop. Before starting editing we had to pick a brush at Brush Easy and paste the push to the background. I did a marble background and went crazy with it. This project was simple and fun.
Levitation
This project was called, "Levitation." For it we had to take a picture of someone balancing on something such as Aubrey's on a chair, than take another picture of nothing there. We had to go to photoshop and cut out the person and place them in the other picture. The project was short but fun.
Mastering Composition
This project was called, "Mastering Composition." The first two pictures are Structural angles, the second two are Exploring Contrast, and the last three look for shapes. This project was cool to check out different angles, shapes, and contrasts to help when you take pictures in the future.
Lighting
This project was called, "Lighting Experiment." For it we had to take pictures with different lightings and see how it turns out. My favorite ones would be the flash and the natural light. The first picture is flash, the second is natural, the 3rd is Overhead light with lamp, forth is overhead light, and lastly the fifth picture is studio lights. I thought this project was great to practice different lightings so you know what will be best for your pictures in the future.
Rules of Odds
This project was called, "Rule of Odds." For it we had to pick five objects and center them to create a better picture. I was rushed but feel like it was kind of good.
Brand Photos
This project is called, "Brand Photos." We had to pick five brands, takes pictures of items that belong to the brands we chose, photoshop the pictures we took to make them into some kind of advertisement. The five brands I decided to do was, Converse,American Eagle, Calvin Klein, Pink, and lastly Hollister. My favorite one was how I did the Calvin Klein advertisement. This was one of my favorite projects we've done this year that should continue.
Fun Friday (bOoK fAcE)
Double Exposure
This project was called, "Double Exposure." For it we had to take a selfie and pick out a background of a place we want to go to or something we like. I decided to pick a place I really want to visit which is, "Bora Bora." This project was honestly super cool to do and it was just really fun to do. I learned a cool new way to use photoshop too.
Stuff Animal
Today in groups we had to take four pictures with a stuff animal for competition with the class on the best ones. I named my stuff animal Bow because he has a rainbow pattern. This project was just so adorable and fun to me and I loved it.
Framing
This project was called, "Framing." We had to take pictures that made different shapes along with a frame.
Water Drop
This project was called oil/water bubbles. For it we had to take oil and water mixed together and make bubbles with a sucker thing. We placed the bubbles on a clear plate held up by two cups. We picked out cool backgrounds on our phone the day before we took the pictures because we had to place our phone under the clear plate to cause cool designs with the oil bubbles. This project was honestly super fun, so cool, and I'd love to do it again on my own time. I learned how to take these pictures and I loved it.
Shadows
This project was called, "Shadow Photography." For it we had to take pictures of something with a shadow. I decided to get creative with selfies and pictures with friends.
Abstract
This project was called, "Abstract." We had to take pictures of small objects and take a picture of it up close to where you can but kind of can't tell what it is. It was really cool to see how cool you could make something look just by abstract.
White Balance
This project was called, "White balance." For it we had to take three pictures of each of the three settings with different modes. The first group are mine, the second group are Aubrey's, and the last group are Katelyn's. The groups we did were books, plants, and art supplies. We all practiced auto once and the other two were random setting of modes we chose such as cloudy, sunlight, and many others.
Food
This week we worked on a project called, "Food Photos." We took pictures Monday through Wednesday, edited on Thursday, and turned in to present to the class on Friday. Monday we had fruits, Tuesday we had chips and popcorn, and then on Wednesday we did candy. This project was actually very fun and my group loved it. We took it very seriously and had fun while doing so.
Mirror, Mirror
This was my independent project. We had the choices to pick any kind of photography, whether it's photoshop, collages, or just a regular picture. I decided to do mine using mirrors and little help from photoshop with the cropping and black and white. We had a little over a week to do this project and I only did this in one day since I changed my mind on kitchen close-ups. For how nice it turned out amazes me with the little time I had.
Photoshop Filters
This project was called, "Photoshop Filters." For it we had to pick ten of the best photos we've taken so far this year and use Photoshop filters to make it look different. This project was simple and wasn't hard at all. It was pretty cool to learn and know where I can go if I want some odd or fun filters on some more pictures my group and take this upcoming year.
Bokeh
This project is called, "Bokeh Pictures." For it we had to pick and create a shape on a black paper and then make the room dark while taking a picture with the shape on the lens. It was very cool.
Winter
This project was called, "Winter Pictures." On a snowy Friday we went outside with our groups and took some cool Winter pictures. This was one of my favorite projects and it was my favorite.
Am I Talking To Myself?
This project is called, "Am I Talking To Myself?" For it we had to use a tripod and had to take six different pictures of ourselves. Next, we had to use photoshop to put the six pictures into one. Out of the pictures we had to pick a main picture to use as our background.I used the hardest one and than photoshopped the rest in. We did this project last year when I took Digital Photography, and this year it was still as fun. I love this project a lot.
Zoom Burst
This project was called, "Zoom Burst." For zoom burst we had to take pictures in the studio with Christmas lights and move the lens to see what kind of picture we can take.
Lenses
This project was called, The pictures I took of Aubrey worked out great. The longer lens is the first one and the shorter lens is the second one. "Lenses."
Winter Wonderland
This project I called, "Winter Wonderland." I loved modeling the snow it was so much fun. The snow and Winter just make we so happy. I'm glad we did this.
Macro Mode
This project was called "Macro Mode." Which is also known as close up mode. It works just by changing the focusing distance on your camera's lens to focus at close quarters. It picks up wide-open aperture which results in a more shallow depth of field. This was kind of cool to get to use nature for it as well making small objects looking bigger than what it is.
Photoshop Tips
This project was called, "Photoshop Tips." For it we had three days to test out different photoshop tips that we found on a website. (I go done a day early) The three different tips I choose to do was, "Tonal Effects, Sunrise Look, and Polaroid." I liked them all and I don't really have a favorite. Although I found it pretty cool how I know now how to make a custom polaroid picture by just using photoshop.

Blur
This project was called, "Blur Background in Photoshop." We needed to take some pictures and in photoshop make one's background very blurry where you can't tell what the background is, and one where it's blurry but you can still tell.
Depth of Field
This project was called, "Depth of Field." We had to take many pictures of the same subject 30, 3 feet away at F11. We also had to do the same subject on other photos one using F4 and the other F16. Lastly we had to focus on a certain subject and make the background blurry.
Photoshop Contrast
This project was called, "Contrast on Photoshop." We just picked out a picture of anything which I chose myself. After picking out a picture we had to put it in photoshop and test out the high and low contrast to edit our picture. This was great to show us where the contrast is at.
Contrast Practice
This project was called, "Contrast." We had yo lear about the ways of contrast for photography. We had to take four pictures with, "high contrast, low contrast, portrait in hard light, and portrait in soft light.This project was kind of cool and I learned what contrast I like my camera setting to be on.
Sub Surface Skin
This project was called, "Sub Surface Skin." For it we had to take a picture of us scared and than photoshop the photo to create veins popping out of my face. This project was hard to me and I could've did a lot better but it's alright.
Spoooooky
This project was, "Spooky Photos." We had to take two pictures that were creepy and went along with Halloween. We did . Aubrey on all fours with her hair in front of her face making her almost look like the ring girl. The other pic is just a creepy pictures of Brooklyn with Aj and I in the background playing dead.
Cozy Fall
This project was called, "Cozy Fall Photos." Of course I modeled in these and I love how they turned out. I had to add my crocs in there because they are my adorable babies. This was a great idea and we need to do it again.
Camera Icon
This project was called, "Camera Icon." We had to use the app, "Adobe Illustrator," to create a camera icon. I liked how my camera turned out because of how cool the colors are and the way I placed my s[apes together to create a camera with a awesome design.
Exposure
For this person we had to have a model and take three pictures by changing the exposure up and down and see how different the pictures look from one another. I was the model and loved how good these turned out.
Magzine Cover
This project was called, "Magazine Cover." We once again worked with photoshop. We had to take a new picture of use an old one and create a magazine cover with the picture using photoshop. I did my magazine on my favorite brand of shoes, "Crocs." I love my pair of white crocs so of course I used them. I really liked this project and I feel like I did much better this year on it than I did last year.
Camera Raw
This priject was called, "Camera Raw." We had some models to choose from and we had to change them a little bit. I enjoyed and had fun doing so but wasn't the best at it but I for sure learned how to do a lot more in photoshop than what I did before.
All About Me
This project was called, "All About Me." Doing this project we had to find a background than photoshop our faces onto it. Surrounding my head I put stuff that I enjoy and love. Such as activities, food, and hobbies.
Aperture
This project was called, "Aperture." We had to take a picture of something inside and outside and focus on it and make the background blurry. Our object was me and I love how these pictures turned out and I learned tips for my next post on the gram.
Shutter Speed
For this project we learned "Shutter Speed." Aubrey and I did hair flips and cartwheels. While in the studio we all wrote Lit, Hi, and an infinity sign. I learned a lot from this project on how to take some great action shots while enjoying doing it.
Scavenger Hunt
For this project it was Friday which meant fun day! We got to wonder the school or outside to take pictures of stuff on the list for a scavenger hunt, I liked it a lot and it was real fun.
Focus
For this project wee all as a class went on a little field trip outside at the school to practice some auto focus and manual shots. We had to get five groups of two pictures and compare them both. I love how these turned out and I learned the differences between the two shots.
Photoshop Practice
For this project we practiced photoshop. We followed steps from the video and did them ourselves. It seemed way more simple this year than it did last year.
Video Tips and Practice Shots
This project we watched a video and took some shots for practice and to learn some basics of photography. We got to go outside and take some great shots which was very fun to do.
Rule of Thirds
This project was called, "Rule of Thirds." For this we had to get a certain angle while taking a picture. They're are some pictures of me, the library, our lunchroom, and the cars outside. My favorite one is the library that I took, and the one Aubrey took of me on the stairs.
Hand and Pencil
For this project we had to draw something that we can interact with our hand. I decided to draw a skateboarder and use my hand as the ramp. It worked out and I'm happy with my drawing.
All About Me
For this project we had to either use an old picture or take a new on and on snapchat put emojis, or stickers of stuff we like or describe us in some way. I decide to put the sports I play, the food I love, or random stuff I love.
